I Love The Rain

Folder:
June 2002 Poetry

Droplets of liquid sunshine,

fall from the sky,

on this gray day,

in October.

Many sit gloomily,

and watch the rain fall.

Whereas I,

sit smiling.

I love the rain.

I love the feel of it,

on my skin.

I love the sound of it,

as it hits my rooftop,

late at night.

I love the way,

it relaxes me,

and puts me to sleep.

I love the rain.

And no matter what people say,

I always will.
