Before I met you,

I felt nothing.

I was numb to all feelings,

and paralyzed to all emotions.

Finding no solace.

Not one person who cared.

So I stopped caring.

Till I met you.

You make me feel happy.

You dry my tears of pain,

and turn them to tears of joy.

Just by saying I love you,

and meaning it.

I'm no longer numb.

I can feel.

And I hope these feelings

I have for you,

last forever.
