The knowledge of a wise man

Without Your Word has no value

He knows of worldly things

But of no grandness without You



Lord I don’t have big words

Engraved inside my simple mind

But I have testified and heard

What many take years to find



They spend big bucks to seek

Every year for the Truth

I place a little in the plate each week

And it’s worth much more to You



They’ll argue out the theories

That still need work to prove

But they won’t consider hearing

From someone who knows the Truth



Yet, they’ll die world-renown

Too great to listen when they heard

The answer a simple Christian found

It was all in Your Word! ~
