Did you hear of the rose

So red and so alive

I've traveled along the road

My fears I no longer will hide



Did you see the leaves on the tree

And feel the breeze sway by

You mean so much to me

You wipe away the tears I cry



And all of these things

Are made from Above

You've given me these wings

You've shown me how to love



I often get lonely waiting

For the next time we shall meet

But my love is never fading

I still love you so much as you can see



And as endless as the rainbow

And big as ocean waves

As strong as brick or stone

I'll love you more everyday



Because God sent you for me

And I was sent for you

I'll love you endlessly

And for all eternity through



And as we grow old

And thoughts start to fade

My love for you will still stand bold

And we'll remember the memories we made



And even though now we are far apart

And yet at the same time so close

You will always remain in my heart

No matter where we go



So I'll remember you

As that red rose

And how you showed me to

Travel down that road
