It's just another lie

It'll only hurt me more

And make me wonder why



Don't look at me

With intent in your eyes

I won't fall for it again

It's the same with all you guys



Don't flirt with me

I don't have time to play

You just want to see if I'm desperate

It won't work anyway



Don't sweet-talk me

You know I'm not a fool

I've fallen for it once before

And twice would break the rules



Don't tell me that you love me

I never want to hear it said

I've been hurt by too many men

And the stupid lines they fed!
