Frigid Blue Perfection

Frigid blue eyes peer out a window

letting tears fall in an ocean of emotions

washing down the paths of memories.

Frigid blue eyes glisten like ice-crystals

being chiseled by the pangs of a jaded past

eclipsing her poetic heart.

Frigid blue eyes harden like a soldier

upon seeing company for shielding emotions

is what she's lived to survive.

Frigid blue eyes are a glacier veil

only being cracked by honesty

in times of solitude.

Frigid blue eyes are the mask 

that fools when cosmetics can cover

and paint any picture desired.
