Don’t Cry For Me

I’m leaving now, but please don’t cry for me.

I’m going to a better place; you’ll be there one day, then you’ll see.

You see, I’m happy about this; you’re the one that’s sad.

I feel great now; believe me, its not really that bad.

I feel only happiness now; I feel no pain.

You’ll understand this one-day, the day we meet again.

I’ll see you then on the other side.

I’ll then be able to dry the tears you’ve cried.

You see, we didn’t lose each other; we just have to find each other again.

I’ll be waiting for you just beyond the bend.

I’ll be waiting for you with a smile across my face.

You will have nothing to fear; I’ll show you around our beautiful place.

Good-bye, until we meet again.

This poem is very touching. Honestly, it touched me so much and made my eyes a bit watery. I love the way you expressed your feelings in this poem, which is direct. Lovely poem.
