Death Knocking
Are you afraid of death?
Death will come for us all.
But for me I feel it is just beyond the next wall.
Should I just give up and fall.
Bottle emotions like a whale causing waves in the ocean.
I try and seek help but I cannot find, is it just my time?
My problems are mine, mine alone, mine to fix on my own.
It is time to face the battle grounds and hope to last another round.
I wonder if I should be here in this place or if I should pack up and make haste.
I keep my feelings all bottled up, now I fear I’m at the rim of my cup.
Should I retreat and run to a place where you cannot seek.
No!
I think I'm going to be strong and keep pushing on.
Do not let death control you, if you give up that’s what it will surely do.
Death will find you and it will win the war but if you fight you can be more.
Go out fighting until the end.
Because when you stop fighting that is truly the end.

Hello 610 Death will surely find us all some day. But we must live each day and be strong.
thanking God for each day we have. No one wants the grim reaper to knock on our door but someday it will.

writing as been slow. but with the words SSmoothie used, your attitude can do so much for you and change everything. you can change both the future and pass by changing your stat of mind. and from your great words allets, Everything that happens is just pettets hitting you and you need to recover and learn to move forward.

Poet 610! How are you my wonderful friend! Long time no see! This is an inspiring poem! Push on, push on! All sacrifice is good! Always give us another day, because the truth is we don't have anything we need that we can't walk away from, except family, there's no way to unfamily yourself, which is a Good thing! Basically a shift in attitude can work wonders for the soul, the trick is to keep the attitude even when things still don't work out, cause every failure is a blessing and a deliverance to a new door and each door with a new promise and that's the beauty of life, the promise.
