Footespie

Collingwood played Carlton, I hear they lost,

The Catholics rule Eden, somebody thought,

Maybe we should really piss the Micks off,

And quietly unashamedly cannonize Gough.

Eddie, Eddie are you ready?

For the patchouli you canoodly,

Wore when you were'nt steady?

And wheel on the tables lay our doodlies?

But that red haired prick still grins away,

On Brack's and every other day,

That should remember whose been robbed,

Because all it takes is just one knob.

But the ball is in play and the crowd cheers on,

For the umpire yes not the tonne.

I'm sorry I must come from somewhere else,

That asks the coffee be on top shelf.

But instead my girl does cook and clean,

For her brother smart and mean,

And if she ever needs a cup,

Must walk to the station to ring me up.

I loved the opening lines… very captivating… nevertheless; somewhere amidst the second last and last stanza you lost me a little.

The title plays nicely into it as well.

Great work Richety!!!
