Time swirling constantly all around us,

as people go busily about their day.

When things go wrong they sometimes swear and cuss,

never looking at life in shades of gray.



Happenings aren’t always black or white,

neither are they just a happy or sad.

So if things go awry do not ignite,

and think of your life in layers of plaid.



If fortunate existence can be long,

allowing you to embrace many things.

Close your eyes and experience the song,

letting the melody float you on wings.



As life is ending then look back in time,

know you were good, as you ripped on the vine.
