Eternal Warmth

Folder:
2005 Poetry

It's cold and snowy this winters eve,

though our love embers in my heart.

Glowing like burning coals deep within,

keeping me warm with internal embrace.

Fire never dying after all these short years,

at least feeling so after too many to count.

Winter of our lives kept continually warm,

partners till that end of life split overcomes.

To find each other once again in the next,

feeling warmth within wherever that my be.

Life may be fleeting but souls will stay united,

with our flame ablaze across life's chasm.

Together we'll be forever entwined,

embers aglow throughout time.
