You’re a player, disobeyer
You can’t chose who to abuse
Gain his trust
Then leave him in the dust
Yeah,
This is how you do it
Cause you’re the player
You can’t hide it
Don’t abide it
‘Cause we know
You put their hearts on a string
Before it starts to sting
Throw them violent to the floor
Then just walk right out the door
It’s not like I really care
What goes on in the dark light
But I guess you’ve gone to far
And I will make you pay
He was mine
You didn’t care
In this world nothing is fair
So there’s some justice of my own
That I’m gonna make you see
You’ll go for what you cannot have
And you’re destroying me
You didn’t want him
Just to taunt
Only to see if you could make him squirm
But I’ll tell you something you don’t want to hear
You haven’t really won
So don’t parade your victory near me
‘Cause maybe the two of you had fun
But I’m his one and only one
My name is twisted on his tongue
He loves me, and never you
‘Cause you’re a player
He knows that he’ll get hurt
If he stays around for long
But he always comes to me
Crawling…
When I beckon to him
Calling…
‘Cause he loves me!
Now go away!
We don’t want you to stay
‘Cause you’re a player
No one wants you
Only for lust
They’d only take you for your bust
‘Cause you’re a player
And you don’t ask for love
Yeah
‘Cause you’re a player
No one would give you love
This is another one that I really love, so powerful and meaningful. I especially like the line "My name is twisted on his tongue"
Truer words were never spoken. In the end, the player stands alone. They do not undertsand such since emotions as imtinacy, respect & love, therefore they can never receive it.
There is no future for the players once their beauty fades.
