BLOWN OVER?
The debris that lies all along the path seems to tell me that the turbulence in life was so intense that it should have blown me off quite easily. But then, I was too lucky to survive the onslaught and be alive till date. My life that would have been otherwise in shambles still holds good for it tries to make amends for the grievous shortcomings of mine. As I crane my neck and look at the path I had trodden, I realize the ‘Zero Tolerance’ in me which had caused untold sufferings in the lives of quite a few. And, the people who happened to pay the maximum penalty were the ones who tried to help me out, the most!
That was sheer nonsense for it was like plunging the ones who help you out from drowning. What if, they had not come out to help you at all! You would be just sulking and cursing that nowhere on earth there was anyone with a humane feeling to lend a helping hand. And then, you tend to take people for granted and show scant respect to the ones who whole-heartedly come forward to help you.
Nothing, you like to lose in life or go wrong in your way. Nevertheless, you forget the fact that it’s ups and downs all the way; and it’s impossible to smooth sail on a choppy sea. Yet, you long for the un-natural and keep going with your non-realistic approach and selfish motive!
Oh, Man! You are too selfish for you think of only your likes and dislikes forgetting the fact that even others have the same intent. No man is an island! You got to be in the company of others and get along, whatever the end result is. But, your ego doesn’t allow you to get out of your shell to respect others. Your greediness makes you jealous for you want none to stand head and shoulders above you. You are unwilling to offer any monetary help for you have the fear of exploitation. No mercy and kindness you show, for you have the fake fear of putting yourself in unrealistic dangers. What then, are you here for?
If your parents had not shown selfless love, sacrifice and care and nurtured you, you would have been lost in the wilderness, long time back. If your brothers and sisters hadn’t lent a helping hand you would have perished with a broken-heart. If your neighbors had not been kind enough you would have vanished nowhere. If the environment had been consistently hostile, you wouldn’t have survived thus far!
Oh, Man! All goodness, kindness and mercy that you were reluctant to deliver; others were willing to offer. Don’t you realize, only because of them you have survived? The reason for turbulence in life is your own-making. You are the one who is solely responsible for your self-destruction. If at all you have survived thus far, it’s because of others’ mercy. Don’t live for yourself! Mend your ways and pay heed to even others’ call, at least once in a while. Otherwise you would be blown over in no time!
As a man, I regret for my inactiveness at a time when I should have acted and helped out; and for showing too much haste at a time when I should have shown restraint. Nevertheless, I’m trying to find a way out to have my mental equilibrium set, before it’s too late.
Mr Ben my good friend.....
Mr Ben my good friend..... that is why "man" is "man" and not "God".... Traits inbuilt to develop with time like a beard or moustache. We always have the option of shaving all facial and cranial hair,,,, similarly....... Being united with the infinite is the sole aim of Indian meditation perfected by sages over the ages.

Well said Mr. Bishu. I know you are aware of all saintly life and Hindu mythology; and so I have high regard for your comments.
