PUSHING FOR JUST ANOTHER MILE?
Smooth, smooth sailing as there’s wind in sail;
It’s gonna get tough when the wind in it, is out!
Nevertheless the tough gets going when odds are against,
As he possess immense strength to graft and grind.
No matter what the intensity of the problem is
Winning and losing depends on how far you go;
Stretching out a step further surpassing your fatigue
Is worth a try; not minding what the consequence is!
The roof that clatters in torrential rain and wind
Still manages to hold good, withstanding the havoc;
Had it given way when the first wind blew
It wouldn’t have stood thus far, but lost its place!
The coarse grass that grows on slushy river bed
Knows how far it can stretch and stand on ground;
It flexes itself an extra inch to bend back and forth
For it knows a rigid stand will make it lose its place!
Flexibility and diligence make your life delectable
For you don’t have to spend that extra energy against odds;
Peace prevails for you have no enemies to fight against,
So you conserve the extra energy to run the extra mile!
"...you have no enemies to fight..."
Such a great definition of peace - diplomats and politicans and world leaders should hear this line and dream of it ~Star~
