POSITIVES

POSITIVES

Nothing’s wrong, I reckon, for there is a positive in everything;

A bone-breaking fall can help me to be more careful and watchful;

Even, yelling of men makes me understand not to reciprocate; and then

An irrecoverable loss helps me realize that there would be life after death!

Oh, Man!  Never ever whine or wane but accommodate yourself;

For you have positives to put yourself on board a life of ecstasy;

A win might help you to achieve self-satisfaction and glory;

But, a loss still helps you correct mistakes to attain stardom.

When I flounder, my mind helps me to overcome my problems,

For it’s accustomed to understand that failures lead to better results;

And now, I never think of failures; but keep myself going;

For there are no negatives and only positives to take me through.

Downcast, I am not; but brio in mindset and perfect in composure;

‘Am adept to just positives and nothing can tease me off;

‘Am a facsimile of an optimist and a 'L'alleagro by heart;

For I love my innate ability to lighten even the darkest of mind.

Oh!  I fly high for there’s nothing to keep me down;

I reckon, there is ‘Oasis’ in the mirage of even the hottest desert sand;

In the midst of troubled waters, I feel a beacon to swim towards;

No doubt, I remain as cool as ever, even when it’s too hot to handle.

Oh! I can’t be burnt even if the sun is on fire!

Can’t be drowned even when all the oceans flood on me!

Then, how come one is depressed to look for a self-fall?

Just take yourself into confidence to keep yourself afloat.

Thanks for reading it atleast once and making your comment.  Such a long and fatty poem, I suppose, will be read only by those who have the patience and inclination to read.
