USHERING IN FRESH LIFE
Centuries in millions, couldn’t halt this grinding life;
As it keeps going, despite countless massive calamities;
Even nuke crimes couldn’t hold human life to ransom!
As it was just an aberration that couldn’t live up to the hype
Of erasing the world as a whole, to ground zero level!
If ‘Nuke fission’ is a reaction that liberates enormous power,
‘Emotional outburst’ is a human reaction that baffles life;
And generations after generations, flourish or perish by it!
What if, there is an emotional and spiritual outburst of man!
Could we survive their onslaught, just as we withstood the nuke attack?
Very much so, ‘coz the emotional binding holds the key to life!
And so, the material destruction thenceforth restored; whereas,
The emotional and spiritual outbursts go on and on beyond life!
Causing excitement in plenty; and unimaginable fantasies in offing;
Yet, they usher in a ‘New Life’ and bring in new generations endlessly!
Great title. This is a poem
Great title. This is a poem of a very strong message, and something I think from time to time (the most recent being yesterday) on what it takes for the world as a whole to choose harmony outside of devestation. In thinking of this I thought of the Monkey Chant from Bali (https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nAUoa9pmokA), which to me is like a demonstration of how much suffering it may take for humans to "get it" once and for all, and so these two lines immediately reminded me of that:
Even nuke crimes couldn’t hold human life to ransom!
As it was just an aberration that couldn’t live up to the hype
Perhaps the world can have this potent emotional outburst, so as there can be more of this New Life, which occutlists like Crowley have called the New Aeon or age of Horus and new agers, the age of Aquarius, but I'm sure there are many names for it!

Congratulations on your 100th poem posted on this site and a very good one too full of hope & love for humanity. May the Gods you believe in bless you for another banging century.Inscriptions at the Kedarnath Temple are yet to be uncovered !!! The Sindhurakshak has broken.Egypt is burning.The wheel of time is turning.The continents are moving apart.Polar ice is melting.The sun expected to change polarity sometime this year.Someone is watching.I sail along in my leaky boat in the marshy bog.When the water'll dry I'll hop like a frog.But can't get out of the bog.BTW excuse my bull-dung comment.Ignore ..........

Thanks Mr. Bishu for your sky-high comment. As mentioned, there are quite a few themes that we need to touch upon, right from the mysteries of Siberia; the inscriptions at Kedarnath that are yet to be decoded till Global warming and the rise in sea level. Hope, poets will give it a break through! Thanks. To be frank, this poem was unintentional, as I had something else in mind, ie. 'Living with emotions' or 'Coping with emotions'. As I couldn't concentrate on the theme, I just thought I could just put in this poem. 'Kesara, sara, what will be will be!' Couldn't help! It was just a flash in the pan without much thought. Don't know, what exactly is the quality and standard of this poem.
