WHERE ARE YOU?

WHERE ARE YOU?

Where am I to find you, for you are invisible?

Running from pillar to post, doesn’t seem to work;

Seeking you day after day and time after time is just a futile attempt;

Coming unto thee and trying to feel your presence,

Goes a sheer waste, as I am yet to get you, still!

My appeal goes unanswered as if it’s heading towards eternity;

As everything in human life is spilt into a short life span;

The expanse of universe doesn’t give me, even the semblance of hope,

Your omnipresence and omnipotence is all that I find in mere words;

‘Coz I find you nowhere in the human world!

Are my eyes searching for you in sinful places?

In places where you are least of all found?

Oh!  Even the sonar does bounce back; so is the eavesdropping!

But my sorrowful mourn and endless appeal remain unanswered!

Where am I to seek you and find you so as to have solace!

How come you seem to turn a deaf ear, Oh, God?

When your beloved creations seem to lose faith and make mistakes;

Should you test our patience and allow us to go astray?

As our genuine appeals and needs remain unanswered for long,

We are bound to ask the question, “Where are you?”

No untrustworthy man we believe, as we rely on you;

Inhuman acts of leaders we condemn and hate;

Materialistic world, we give no place to;

For we know that there is someone to care for!

Hence we like to know, where you are!

Author's Notes/Comments:

At times, God seems to test our patience by not responding to our appeals instantly. Hence, man likes to know where he is and make his appeal personally so that he can overcome his problems to avoid misery and untold sufferings.

A chess game Respected Ben Sir

Your writing was really philosophical.A chess game Respected Ben Sir that is what it is. Chess is played by two minds.The pieces (king,queen,rook,horse,bishop,pawns...) Life is a chess game played by all the things(anything which has/had life) + inanimate objects in the universe(starting from a spec of dust to the huge stars). Life is the reflection of a chess  game .Who plays ? who is the judge? It is God Sir. Once we minions understand the concept of God , we'll cease to exist. The searching will continue.God will never be found by man. God is only to be realized and felt as was by the People we call Avatars different in different religions. No logical argument stands true .It is the only God which has created order out of utter chaos.On the lighter side,how about sending out an arrest warrant for God !! You may read my post "Cave" for some satisfaction.

Thanks for your thoughts on God and his avatars.  As said, God can never be found but his acts are the reflections of human goodness.  He always acts only through some good human or nature. My apprehension is, "Have I gone too far by commiting sins? or Am I searching in the wrong places, for I feel that I am right now in the wrong place! Hence the struggle! How to get back is the problem without worrying about the worldly gain or loss! Losing faith and hope is man's biggest let downs! At least in chess, one can win or lose or even attain a stalemate position as per his move.  If he wants, he can even draw the game by begining with an opening for a draw and not be aggressive and trying for a win.  But in life, no one likes to lose.  Thats the problem, 'coz losing brings in depression and loss of hope and faith!
