DEPRESSION
Depression in air induces turbulence and transforms atmosphere,
Churns off earth and mankind, causing cloudburst and gale;
The after moth of hurricane and tornado; is untold misery;
They suck and spin the human to, pitiable peril!
And the wrath of nature leaves, its destructive trail!
Uprooted trees tumble on bunkers and shelters;
As they crumble, innumerable, precious lives lost;
Sucked up things are hurled down with great force;
As the mighty, nature’s rage is hard to contain!
Nevertheless man knows how to survive the turmoil.
If depression causes low-pressure, cyclone and storm,
Mental depression is of a different sort;
The material destruction is nothing, when compared to mind;
The mind that is depressed gets agitated at once;
And no one can stand against the fury and furor!
The depression in air might kill a few and render some homeless;
But the manic depression immolates the mind and subdues the brain;
Oh! The body goes weak and the spirit goes numb!
It wrecks peace and mows down the whole family tree;
Hey! It’s a pathetic sight to see the terribly shattered family in shambles!
No love lost when nature shows its fury!
As you show your oneness with nature yet again!
But all is lost when you have the manic depression!
And the discharged emotion and action, no doubt will,
Destroy every mind and tear apart the living lot!
Yes yes...it is terribly
Yes yes...it is terribly unfortunate, and we have it here too, in America, Ben. The part that is the worst is that people go unaware through not being educated of what it is, and then you have the problem that you cannot fix what you do not know is working poorly. Even my car has gauges... I have learned through my own bouts of depression to place gauges for myself so that I may have awareness---and do what I need to do for myself, but it did not come so easy. God Bless you for your awareness and knowledge of this 'killer disease'. <3

Beautiful! The phrase 'like catching raindrops on the tongue' really fascinates me. Why don't you think of writing a poem with the title 'Catching raindrops on the tongue' or 'Rhythm of the falling rain' ? Hope you feel free without any depression!
