IMMACULATE BEAUTY! (A tribute to my wife-in simple terms)
She wasn't beautiful, like ‘The Helen of Troy’;
She isn't beautiful like, ‘The Miss Universe of Today’;
She will not be beautiful like, ‘The Would Be(s) of Tomorrow’;
Yet none can vie with her!
She’s a beauty, not in her face!
She’s a beauty, not in her physique!
She’s a beauty, not in her tone!
Yet none can vie with her!
She’s a beauty, in her wonderful thoughts!
She’s a beauty, in her soothing words!
She’s a beauty, in her incredible deeds!
Yes. She’s a beauty; a beauty of her own!
She’s a beauty in her motherly care!
She’s a beauty in her tenderly touch!
She’s a beauty in her silent cry!
Yes. She’s a beauty; a beauty of her own!
Who can match her selfless love?
Who can match her serene face?
Who can match her forbearance? And
Who can match her compassionate touch?
‘The Immaculate Beauty’ but herself!

Oh My dear Olive Oyle
Put the eggs on the boil
I'll sail home after a day's toil
To you my luv..into your open arms
All my cares I'll lay down 'fore you
I'll unwind caressing your btyful face
Though your arms are scrawny
And volume you have none
Yet I'll love you all the while
I'll sleep with your pretty soul
Coiled up spooning till morn's glow

Come on Mr. Bishu, you seem to read a lot. Unlike me you really quote from different writers which is a great asset to you where as I am a very poor reader. I was totally surprised to see your comment on my simple poem 'Immaculate Beauty' which I posted long time back. I really appreciate your interest in literature as you seem to be well versed in other Indian languages too. Great!
Nevertheless, I don't like to put the egg on the boil as I am a person in a hurry! I prefer to finish it off and then move around.

Inner beauty reigns supreme any day over outer beauty...
those with deep roots into their own personal character know this.......... Every man should write such a tribut to his love whether she be his wife or the woman who carresses his soul and heart in the palm of her hand...............Sincerely, Melissa Lundeen.

Thanks for your comment on my simple poem which I happened to write long time back keeping in mind what my wife meant to me. I tried to put it as simple as possible thinking that it would be just enough to convey the message. If you find time and have the patience, go through my poem 'You are quite brilliant, My Lady!' which I happened to write on another occasion in a different context. Nevertheless thanks a lot for commenting on it.
