YOU ARE QUITE BRILLIANT, MY LADY!

YOU ARE QUITE BRILLIANT, MY LADY!

Not in dream I squeak;

But from the depth of heart I speak;

The lady who bloomed in my heart

Should reign supreme for long!

Bloom! Bloom! Bloom!

Never could she bloom so great,

With such a colourful taste!

A delicious feast to mind

Is the lady who others envy!

The colours of rainbow sighed,

As she strolled outside;

Not matching her ‘Colourful Coat’

It just vanished in thin air!

Blooming flowers quietly smiled,

Acknowledging her quite exuberance;

Failing to match her ‘Heavenly Fragrance’

Just withered off in vain!

She was so brilliantly bright,

When sun spotted her glow;

Notwithstanding the ‘Sweetest Delight’

It went down without a say!

Quite so silvery the moon that was,

But not so astounding as she was;

Quite so shy of her ‘Blemish less Face’

It died down in just fourteen days!

The gentleness in breeze is no match,

As she soothes my heart with a healing touch;

The tenderness in her ‘Exotic Tone’

Is quite exhilarating; Oh! My Queen!

You are more than a refreshing stream,

An Oasis in my life;

Quite electrifying in your ‘Amazing Grace’

Just too wonderful in your ‘Everlasting Love’.

‘YOU ARE QUITE BRILLIANT’ MY LADY!

Author's Notes/Comments:

The grace, the colourful coat, her blemishless face and her fragrance could not be matched even by the rainbow, the moon, the sun and the flowers.  Though, I have written so many poems, this is one of the poems that I like most.

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
