COLD- COMFORT
Multiple tracks and pensive innumerable thoughts,
Make me contemplate on this perplexed life; but
The bleak feature doesn’t allow me to assimilate,
And decide on the weary life of such cold-comfort.
Life journey is so arduous and quite rapturous;
As it isn’t cloistered to give immunity to normal life;
‘Am not adept to seek anything really pesky and fictitious,
Yet the fickle makes it quite airy-fairy to stray off the mark.
So iffy, but the tenacity keeps surging for long;
Yet the misgivings of life hold no hope to whet my desire;
‘Presage’ I feel, lest I tumble off in this devilish darkness,
Still I grope in dark to kow-tow for a gregarious life!
A life so delirious is still at stake but not yet completely lost;
The raging thoughts still break my heart with consummate ease;
Oh! It’s an ‘Armageddon’ that’s so freakish and to be watched;
Yet my deism should win over the devilish acts to resurrect my soul!

Armageddon is like Ragnarok,
Armageddon is like Ragnarok, the battle before all things earthly fade. If belief is real, than so are these concepts, like walking on water and changing water to wine, casting out devils and raising the dead. These are aides to faith to make living continue when evil attacks. Liked the write, the struggle between what tempts and what is pursued. slc

Thanks for enlightening me. I just happened to view this movie (Armageddon) long time back. It stuck my mind when I was writing this poem. I never believe in miracles. Yet we got to overcome our earthly problems to stablize ourself both mentally and materially. And so, we got to win over evil by all possible, good means .
