CAST IT OFF
So murkier it is that the hassle looks hazardous,
I blench fearing the ominous threat that’s imminent;
The animosity still persists kindling rapturous feeling;
As it flares up, I fear the worst that’s yet to emerge.
Life has become so listless as it’s being jolted;
The attitude of the spiteful wrecks the heart of the prig;
It’s so intriguing when people look so malicious
For it makes the prim to lose faith in the imbalanced society.
The mayhem that prevails makes one flare up!
Muddling the good ones is the desire of the coveted;
To discern the righteous from the thoughtless recusant
Is all that I ask for the run-up to peace and perseverance!
Oh, Man! You are neither a machine nor a pawn;
For you are enriched with experience in plenty;
What if the crook lands you a treacherous mental blow?
Would you be still sulking or cast it away?
Procrastination makes you lose your precious time;
Crying over water that has gone past the sluice
Just drains and enervates your ever declining energy;
See that you are animated and enriched with vivacity.
Do not burry anything in your unfathomable mind;
For it might go off like a bomb-shell from within;
Just cast if off to ease of the ever building inner pressure,
To avoid a colossal damage and a massive explosion within!
Really good poem. Enjoyed

Hi B&S,
Thanks for the comment. I have written 145poems so far, and nobody ever commented by saying that he/she enjoyed it. Great complement this. Thank you so much Light 'N' Shadow!

Moral Quandry
There is a large place in poetry for the righteous ponder. Poetry should make you feel better and yours does ~slc~

The turmoil that the people around me go through at present, makes me think a little bit serious about life and write about it in the last few poems. Though most things seem to be alright with me, I feel depressed when I find something seriously going wrong with the ones who are so near and dear to me. As I couldn't take it that way and digest it, I'm trying to pour down my depression this way. I don't know whether I am right or wrong. But something in my inner mind makes me feel so and hence the poems! If you find time, check out my poem 'Quit Not! Try.
