SKIN DEEP

SKIN DEEP

SKIN DEEP

Statuesque like features.

She walks with an elegant sway.

Hair blond as the sun,

Legs long as the day.

Skin soft and clean

with a radiant sheen.

The most handsome woman

I've ever seen.

She spoke.

Then with just a few words

My vision of her was erased.

She became hideously ugly,

with her bewitching face.

The things she said!

It was with ignorance she was bred.

She then starred coldly as if her soul be dead.

Some women are so lovely

and kind to the eyes.

Yet, what may frighten you under lies.

You could even say,

They use their beauty as a disguise.

Pure beauty will come from deep within.

If he only loves her

Because she's pretty to him.

This could mean,

His love is only as deep as her skin!

Author's Notes/Comments:

THIS IS A TRUE STORY. BEAUTY CAN BE A CURSE FOR THOSE THAT SEEK IT.
AND THOSE THAT POSSESS IT.

Patricia:
Pure beauty is not what you see with thy eyes
But the love beauty and kindness that comes from the heart
For no reason why

For the beauty of the seasons may come and go.....
But the beauty of the fine sensuous lady will forever glow

Patricia-this poem was so beautifully written with so much love beauty and gracefullness. How true everything you stated in this masterpiece. Thank you for sharing this inspiring poem with me and take care. Have a very beautiful day and a very safe and peaceful week.

A nice poem. Needs another proof read by the author. Look a little closer. If you don't see what I mean, ask me. James
