SOLITARY QUESTION



My whole life, I’ve never been alone

Or completely lonely,



Now I find myself asking,



What if and If only?



Insecure about alone,

And the status it brings,



The wedding bands are here

Now they’re just rings



Can I learn to be alone and not  

Be lonely?



Or do I forever ask,

What if and If only?

Whoa, scary thought! I know you heard of the song sung by Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin, right? "Nobody wants to be lonely"...<---That's the title of the song. It's really scary thinking about loneliness. Nicely written poem.
