Life In The Outback

Folder:
Life

Life in the outback, Can be dangerous and hard.

Mustering the cattle, And putting them in the yard.

Snakes hiding everywhere, Ready to take a bite.

Crocs in the rivers, Hiding out of site.

We work from dawn to dusk, With only a few minutes rest.

But still living in the bush, Is just the best.

No need to worry about people, Braking into your home.

Or your kids getting stolen, If they choose to roam.

No hustle bustle of cars, Driving up the street.

Don’t have to worry, About deadlines to meet

We can wear what we want, Without being judged by others.

NO snarling looks, By stuck up mothers.

The kids never wine, About being bored.

They make their own fun, With things that they hoard.

NO heavy music, Or T.V to entertain.

We just have the sun shine, And the pouring rain.

Still I wouldn’t swap it, For city life you see.

Because this wide brown land, Is where I’m meant to be.
