The unbearable lightness of being just me
not afraid not to give in to conformity
to be truly me
sets me free
light as a feather
wondering whether
or not I can fly
and daring to try
not weighted down by society's rules
not believing everything learned in schools
finding things out for myself that are true
being true to me is all I am trying to do
I prefer lightness
gives me delight yes
unbearable lightness floating away
I let my dreams carry me in the air
I prefer that feeling any day
this is a challenge, so take the dare
