of you please don't think I am deliberately making a fool

around you I school myself arduously to appear so care-free and cool

one day soon I will provide for you in aid of my identity

a most useful and adequate tool

but until then, all my insecurities concerning the depth

of my innner most feelings for you will do better and duel

please remember what I feel and have felt for you is no

prank or cruel joke but the rarest and most precious

jewel

even though the very sight of you causes such aching

need in my gut to wrench and pool

loving you from afar is the only optional right of rule

but I promise you as soon as inner strength in me

prevails

from your sparkling sapphire eyes I'll happily remove

the wool.........
