silent but soon

death

for the moment

too

shall come

in the now

though at best

only be

a harnessed reverie

sweet fire

a cool cheek

for such breath

to brush

the breath itself

umpteen consecutive

excuses

separating life

from the expiration

of unwanted

circumstance

that invites

such morbid longings

to occur

doctors

label such grim fascination

aptly enough

depression............
