I would give you a kiss

that could blow away all your pain

and a hug that would wrap you up so snugly

well within its warmth

that you would forget such misery as your

current wounded woe

that my friend is what I would do for you

if I could

gladly

purposefully

and without any fear

for my own heart's beatin' down well

being

whatsoever...............
