its your greatness that makes your grace
not one magnificent column raised
even a centimeter
out of place
such love in every lovely detail
each stone carved
so ornate
ageless craftsmanship
to whom others' work
can only pale
what marvel
what edifus
a monument so perfect and pristine
and to think
erected
in a country
so over populated
that it can't quite keep its own streets
clean
of life's debris
the echos of the past
to the traveler
recommended
such luxury
only the tenderest soul
can truly take it all in
the magnitude of such a love
a near obsession that sailed far far away
from the initial wish
of the devoted's grave
alas
so blessed were my eyes
those sparkling mirrors
leading unto the magic of
my creative mind
to have such grand experience
just to gaze
unhindered
upon the glory of
THE TAJMAHAL
constructed in love
that even when
pitted against time itself
in its own infinite wisdom and beauty
the beauty of love eternal
won..........

Danielle,
That is another different poem. I like it when I see how you managed to make us explore such an experience through that poem. Cheers.
