I laugh at my own personal good fortune

for the frightening swirls of darkness detected

can not touch my today

amid ideas of non-proliferation of nations

and garbled threats (and subsequent wagings) of war

these deface not the focus of my every purpose

patriotism stumbles to unite

a sad banner she smiles to bring

today is truly an American day

standing before a world that hates so much

even as it envies

a twisted tale of David unfolds

Goliath fights with the idea of long term peace in his pocket

while the globe boils over with rage

a culdron of nations aspire to stir the fire ever hire

revealment comes in the form of shock

enviable nations would stand side by side of hatetred and harm

further allowing the torture and hardship of  such a trodden

slew

just to oppose the strength of the strongest

yes indeed

pride doth goeth before the fall

and even one step further to venture on

in the aftermath of such doubtless an outcome

to save a little face

whte wine drinking lovers with the rice eating masses

shall anti-up with the stoic world war II defeateds

and give a good speech and re-offer support and consent

from the other side of their mouths and be back in the fold

of the sheltered flock

when the green starts looking like  a never ending river

of wealth flowing from their tiny little signatures on the

page

to their dirty pockets of feigned humility and proposed

ammends

the business of agreement is such a pathetic barter

strangled by the collective mud slinging and hype of the

universal press

hoping to dry off from their back stabbing and blood letting

routines of

jaded disenchantment within their own ranks of self rule

and biased bureaucracy

while the dedicated demonstrate

what muddy boots can accomplish

at ther end of the day
