Turn to Grey

I know it shouldn't matter,

when I'm standing next to You.

I shouldn't stress about this.

And I shouldn't come unglued...

I know that when I watch you,

What seems black and white all fade,

Wrong and right are less important,

Cuz next to You, all else is grey.

I shouldn't have to worry,

If I leave my life behind...

Lord, don't leave unfinished projects,

Change my heart now with my mind.

I always knew I'd serve you,

Somewhere near this planet's ends.

And in my head, I knew that meant,

I'd leave my home and friends.

But God, they have my heart still,

And, I've loved it like that.

I guess to follow you, though...

I'll have to take it back.

I know it shouldn't matter,

If my eyes are fixed on you.

So, as I leave my love behind me,

Turn to grey, my tear drops blue.
