There is a blonde girl that I see,
She has a strange effect on me.
A lack of words, my mind's not clear,
All my thoughts seem to disappear.
It's not as if I lose my head,
Just don't know what words should be said.
I don't know if she'll be the one,
God's revelations aren't yet done.
But, I'll just take it step by step,
Till He takes me to a lower depth.
I feel we're this for a reason,
I expect more than one season.
We may not marry, or date, or be,
More than just friends, but I can see,
That if we keep our focus High,
We'll see that this just may not die.
If music were my specialty,
I'd play a song for you and me.
I do not dance, can't sing, or play,
So I will write you this today.
It's not great, off by a mile,
But, maybe it will make you smile.
And as you read, what I wrote here,
I know that you won't shed a tear.
But, I pray that, you'll think of how,
The chance we have to make a vow.
To God, and us, forever more,
Friends, or what He has in store.
This is really a nice poem! I love it!
I electronically kneel before your greatness.
