How I Miss My Dear Best Friend

Folder:
Jeffery Williams

When we first met,

we knew we would,

become best friends.

But when I heard,

you had to leave,

I had to think,

of the first time,

we ever met,

& made us best friends.

I knew how much,

you cared for me,

which led our,

friendship to grow,

intensively,

into a sprouting seed.

It appeared that you were,

much more than a friend,

and I would give anything,

to see you again.

As I remember,

you were just like,

a brother to me.

I could cry on,

your shoulders,

about a crush,

who left me,

shaking inside,

& you would hold me,

telling me it would,

be all right.

On a rainy day,

I was afraid of noises,

that spite my inner sides.

I would call you in fear,

& you would tell me,

you were near,

& always be here.

You always,

have been the one,

to see me through,

now it shows,

inside my heart,

how much I really,

miss my dear best friend.

Here I will wait,

strong and true,

to see your face,

once again.
