Body Language

Arms encase me snugly.

Face nestles to my throat.

Warm, moist breath in rhythm

Slides, across my cheek to float

Into the midnight hours

In darkness as you sleep,

Spooned into me gently,

Possessively you keep,

Our bodies fitted mutely,

Though the message is quite clear.

Unconscious, yet you closely guard

The one you hold most dear.

What an amazing picture this paints of love and caring under all circumstances.

I really like this one! A cozy kind of poem!
