Poor heart racin',

Feet stumble in,

Key misses lock,

Head in a spin,

Flip on the switch,

Light floods the room.

Click on some music,

Chasin' the gloom.

Tap on computer,

Says, "You've got mail!"

Makes heart flutter.

I'm under y' spell.

Over long miles,

Y' words welcome me.

Chase away lonely,

I read and I'm free.

Thank God for 'puters,

Letters and more!

I like this poem a lot. The lines are short and to the point.
