What's wrong with me?
Is it my looks?
Have I not flash enough?
Have I no fire? Do I repell?
What caused this grand rebuff?
I've searched my heart,
Re-lived my life,
And now I understand!
There WAS one missing quality!!
YOU never were a MAN!
Isn't it amazing ahow crushed and defeated we can feel after the breakdown of a relationship. How we are so ready to accept that the fault is within us? How we search and self analyze and suffer? Until finally it dawns. It is their loss.
I hope this poem did indeed help alleviate some of that pain. He never deserved you at all! You are a wonderful and gifted person.
