The weatherman says it's snowing in Indiana.

The wind chill factor will push it to five below.

Here in Georgia the sun is brightly shining.

But without your presence, I'm feeling mighty cold.

There's an Arctic front headed south across the Great Lakes.

I hope you stay inside where it's nice and warm.

If you'd just come back home, everything would be right,

I'd sooth and comfort you with my Southern Charm.

Do you miss me when that Arctic wind is howling?

Can you look into your mind to recall the heat?

Will you live on dreams and letters just like I do?

Until the time when once again we meet?

I'm praying as I work through daily problems,

That you'll be well and whole and feel just fine.

But I won't be able to concentrate completely ,

Until you're Georgia bound and fully mine.

Don't let the blues overtake you while you're waiting.

Remember that God alone knows every end.

And until I hold your body in my warm embrace,

All my love and hopes for you I freely send.
