Is it ok to cry?
Ok to show emotion, show you care?
The mad young man realizes,
Only too late.
Emotion makes you human
To show you care makes you strong.
But to cry
You have to when they laugh,
Even though you don't show it.
You have to when you look at yourself,
You have to when you have no friends,
You have to when you think about your life,
And what little you have gained from it.
The mad young man becomes a crying little kid.
No knowledge of the world,
How it works, what it means.
All he needs is someone with him,
Someone to hold him,
Someone who cares.
I couldn't agree less with the saying "boys don't cry." Everyone cries or at least everyone should. It shows sensitivity. I would never want to be around someone with no emotions or that felt they had to be hard as a rock. It shouldn't be human.
