They think i should of listened, 

when they said daddy would be a rolling stone

But I always say I am glad that he rolled'

Cause now my house is not his home,

And everything I have is my own.

yes everything, is mine alone.

I used to have nightmares bout starin' out the kitchen window 

Thinking bout how all my dreams were finished.

But it's not like that, not like that all, 

Cause he was never there for me when I'd fall,

And you don't miss what you haven't had at all.

They think I should of listened,

But my life is just beginning.
