Do you wish that I was there

to lie with you tonight

do you think that it would be

that wrong or maybe right.



I know that im unsure of things

and where I want to be

but im still here dreaming of you

out there dreaming of me.



Do you wish that I was there

entwined in your embrace

sleeping soundly shallow breaths

as we are face to face.



I know that it has been so long

since I have felt some peace

but im still here thinking of things

I know I shouldnt be.



Do you wish that I was there

and not crying alone

alight my heart with fire

although it feels like stone.
