I could ask you what your thinking

but would the truth be what I hear

will the person that I'm seeing

be the one that's in the mirror.



Can my image of perfection

ever change your point of view

this time the problem is with you.



I could sit around just waiting

for your heart to turn around

but I can only take so many times

being thrown onto the ground.



Can I really go much longer

when your hurting me soo bad

destroying what we could have had.



I could listen to your bitching

and watch me slowly start to drown

but I know i'll be far better off

once you are not around.



Can I do the thing I have too

ever really say goodbye

I know I sure as hell will try.
