I know you hurt though you won't show it

and I can't say that this will pass

your tired eyes are dying  slowly

the light is burning down.



In a crowd you stand alone

thay have no clue how you do feel

you lie when you think it matters

to conceal the tears your holding back.



Take control with your common sense

though this can't be controlled

you are the strongest we can see

though I know inside you scream.



You have no idea what it means to me

to let you know how much I care

and how I hate to see your pain

'cause I can feel it.



Deep down I feel my heart break

I love you so much

but you can't turn to me

or even to yourself.



You hold it in and wither

shying away from the life

she would want you to have

as you look up into space.



But i'm sitting beside you

I want to help you through

don't let that light burn out

and when your tears finally fall



i'm still here for you.
