I never needed you to love me

though i'm really glad you do

I listen to the words you speak

I hope they all are true.



I make a single promise

though that tendancy's absurd

but I keep aoll my promises

wether or not they're ones you've heard.



I never tood a word you said

and threw it in your face

I know the things you feel for me

and those i'd not disgrace.



I may never let you know this

my pride is much to there

but no matter where our lives do lead

please know i'll always care.
