All that really matters

Folder:
closet boxes 2002

For so long we were together

Still you don’t know what I need

When all that really mattered

Was that you really loved me

But the days and nights all passed us by

And my heart still wasn’t full

The days were swiftly growing dark

The light in my eyes growing dull

We need more then just our love

Something we could never find

These unfortunate circumstances

Left us playing with our minds

We tried so hard to make it work

I can’t believe what we went through

We didn’t want it all to end

We didn’t want to start all new

All that really mattered

That was such a stupid joke

Cause that was never good enough

Just ask these two hearts that broke
