I would have maybe used soemthing other than think, as teaching them what to think is what we want, so something like not what to be or not what to want
I don't want anyone to think anything except for their own originality, and share it with the world. But I respect your own uniqueness and individuality. I feel if they were taught to be original, which can only come from them, then they might learn through experiences and then share those experiences with others in attempts to become something more original that works for them. It seems we have so many carbon copies, and resentments when people are just themselves...the world has no respect for individuality and doesn't even know how to think of it as being a natural thing. Everyone consumed with right and wrong.
...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
lol....no. it's about not teaching them what to think, but teaching them TO think. for instance, not brainwashing them, allowing them the space to learn the difference between free thinking and being told what to think--as in instead of: 'the sky is blue', teach them : 'from all theories studied, science tells us the sky is blue'. it is saying that schools do not allow free thinking. (or maybe it's just saying that to me!)
...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
yes I know that was my point, maybe if you put not 'what to think' so it is clear that it is a whole thought, anyways I get what the pome is about I just find the flow is off
I find many people are content not to think, even if you teach them how, many people like that they don't need to, and the ones who don't...write :)
i feel like the last line is
