Sitting on a beach
Hot sand melting my soft feet
Heat that tickles my fancy
I am eating a dripping juicy Georgia peach
My lips some sticky sweet
Pretending that I am mermaid
So that I can siren to the fish
Though, it is the lonely lovers, whom hear me
On a ships bow, I am singing the Siren Song of the Lorelei
Gently a current, currently takes the tide
Sun dances beating upon the water
Color on a colorless spectrum glitters
The tapestry tapers the coast
Here in my shell I collect all the thoughts
Along the shore the sun is hot
Now that I am anchored here in my harbor,
too stay at bay
I am washing away in its legendary legacy
Though, I am still here in its imaginary
Returning myself from the seas
Sitting on a beach
a great poem
i have sat on that beach
i have eaten the georgia peach
i have dreamed many dreams
but when i wake its only me
dreaming and wishing somewhere to be
