My Reflection

From the moment my closed eyes open,

Is another day where the cycle of modern civilization continues,

many times there is the presence of

my very own conscience beckoning to me,

too afraid to face this dreadful fiend

I stand alone,

As silence welcomes itself in,

the ground i step foot upon becomes deserted,

when the wind howls feircely at night,

its caustic force leaves me with agonizing whispers of hate,

the puddles of water left behind from rain,

the windows,

the walls,

enough to finally drive me insane,

reflections where beautiful creatures that I once loved,

and have now grew to hate,

for they have only one cause,

stranding me into their world of illusions and emptyness,

There is nothing but a limp body standing across drowning in flaws,

but I stand alone,

and continue to fight strong,

humans were born to bear with this,

I must remember,

it is not my fault that

i have

eyes.
