As I sit in bed thinking of you

I start to miss you even more

We had such a short time together

But how close we became

Something stronger than earthly ties

Brought us so close to each other

Even after being apart for over a year

We are still just as close

If not closer still

Nothing can pull us apart

Not people, distance, or time

My love grows more everyday

I miss you so much

Not talking to you every night

Is tearing me apart

And knowing that you need me

Makes it so hard to just sit here

And wait for your call

If you were still here

I could be at your side

But you are so far away

I pray you'll be ok until we talk

It tears at my heart when you hurt

I just want to make you smile again
