The time I spend with you
Just flies by as time stands still
When you're around
Nothing else matters or exists
But you holding me close
The strength of your arms;
Keeping me safe and sound
The kindness of your heart;
Keeping me warm and snug
Your sweet whispers;
Reassure me that you care
And no matter what happens
We'll be together always
Even when new people
Come into our lives
The feelings we share
Will never change
The way your kisses feel
Like silk upon my skin
The way your caress
Makes everything melt away
These feelings you bring out
Can never be at peace again
Until you come and still my heart
With your soft gentle touch
And warm loving words
That cause time to be lost
